Creating Tomorrow's Opera Artists and Audiences
Young Artists take weekly classes in voice, languages, diction, theory, music history, acting, and movement taught by Pineda Conservatory and Pineda Lyric professional staff. Classes occur in conjunction with weekly rehearsals for Pineda Lyric Opera productions.

Young Artists appear side-by-side professional opera singers in Pineda Lyric productions. These productions are fully-staged and accompanied by a professional orchestra. Additionally, Young Artists are featured in an all-student production each season.

An audition is required to participate in the Young Artist Program, though all levels of talent and experience are welcome.

*The Young Artist Program is tuition free. To offset production costs, a one-time, nominal costume fee is charged per student for participation in each fully staged opera production.
