The Pineda Conservatory Voice Studio is located at 428 Jerusalem Road, Scotch Plains, NJ. The second floor space consists of three private voice studios with keyboards. One studio is also equipped with state-of-the-art recording equipment able to produce professional quality recordings.

Philosophy

Whether your dream is to perform on Broadway or at the Met, whether you long to sing in a rock band, in your church choir, or just in your shower, our professional voice faculty offers the training, individualized attention and support you need to realize your goals and dreams.

At Pineda Conservatory, emphasis is placed on developing proper vocal technique in order to provide a healthy, well-produced sound regardless of the musical style or performance medium. Emphasis is also placed on improving performance practices and building poise and self-confidence.

Students are encouraged to audition and participate in appropriate performance opportunities in the community. They regularly cast in leading roles in their school shows and in community theatre and go on to attend the nation's leading conservatories and theatre programs.

Nearly 100 students are currently enrolled in private voice lessons at PCPA.

Faculty

Pineda Conservatory voice teachers are NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) certified. Collectively, the Pineda Conservatory faculty has performed on Broadway, off-Broadway and Regionally, on opera stages around the country, on concert stages with symphony orchestras as well as rock bands and in intimate clubs and cabaret rooms.

Registration & Tuition

Staff schedules are filled per semester (Fall & Spring) on a first-come, first-served basis with preference given to returning students. Once faculty schedules have been filled, you will be given the option to join our waiting list.

$45 per semester / per student / non-refundable

$65 for 60 minutes

$50 for 45 minutes

$35 for 30 minutes

Before a student is considered registered, a parent or guardian must complete and return the Voice Studio Registration Form with the $35 fee and read and sign the Policy Statement and Contract. Lesson time is not guaranteed until both forms have been completed and returned to the Conservatory offices.
