July-August 2014 Summer Conservatory Raises Over $2200 for Broadway Cares In keeping with this summer's theme of giving back to our community, PCPA sponsored several charity events. Through a silent auction of Broadway-themed items and the sale of red ribbons and wrist bands (provided by Broadway Cares), PCPA raised over $2200 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a non-profit that awards grants nation-wide to social service programs that assist people living with AIDS and their families.
Additionally, a canned food drive was held during all of our Starlight performances. PCPA was able to donate several boxes of food to a local food pantry. We thank our audiences for their continued generosity and philanthropy this summer!
